COMMUNITY
Rotary Youth Exchange is a global program offering high school students the opportunity to live and study abroad for 12 months. The program is coordinated at a district level, of which there are over 500 across the globe. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, our district ran an impressive exchange program with upwards of 15 students being sent out or hosted by the district at any time.
Exchange is extremely beneficial not just for the individual student, but also for the school they return to. Exchange students return from their year away with increased maturity and independence, public speaking skills and a new understanding of the world around them. They make fantastic student leaders and often contribute greatly to their school and community.
