AROUND THE COLLEGE

Students at WHC are encouraged to ‘Call Out’ poor behaviours they may be exposed to, witness, or hear of in our community.

If you hear something that is not right, or feel uncomfortable in our community, we want to hear from you!

Students are encouraged to email their Year Level address, where concerns will be resolved.

Canteen Orders

A reminder that the Canteen is ORDER ONLY for all main food items, such as salad rolls, sausage rolls, schnitzel burgers etc. The first 10 minutes of recess and lunch will be allocated to collection of food orders only. The canteen will then be open for any additional purchases of drinks and ice creams (Term 1 & 4).

*REMEMBER to order before 8.15am on the QKR! app or at the canteen before 8.45am

The canteen will remain open until end of term to cater for our Year 7-9's. Keep your eye on QKR! as we will be running a modified menu as we reduce our stock levels.

Many thanks,

Lee and Lisa. 😊

Chess Tournament

The WHC Chess Tournament took place this week, featuring 16 players battling it out over three days of intense competition. After 35 hard fought matches only 2 remained, with reigning champion Zander Bailey taking on the in form Oliver Jones in the Grand Final. In the best-of-three series, Oliver triumphed 2-1 in a nail-biting contest, clinching the championship and getting his revenge for last tournaments defeat. Congratulations to all the players for demonstrating exceptional strategy, resilience and sportsmanship.
