Maths Competition Results

The Australian Maths competition was held at Greenvale Primary School for interested students in years 3-6 in Term 3. Over 100 students competed against other students across Australia. First run in 1978, the Australian Mathematics Competition is Australia’s longest running, largest and most well-known maths competition for school students. The test is comprised of 30 questions and topics included

  • Basic arithmetic
  • Fractions and ratios
  • Algebra and pre-algebra
  • Geometry
  • Measurement
  • Statistics and probability
  • Problem-solving (including enumeration) 

Congratulations to all students who participated. Students will receive a certificate that outlines their results and level achieved in the competition.
