As the end of year draws closer, Careers information is not slowing down. University open days will begin early in 2025 and TAFE are advertising their course guide. Students are encouraged to check and action their emails as well as access the information which is regularly posted to the Google classroom for the relevant year groups. If you are not in your year Google Classroom, here are the codes:

Last week, we were happy to welcome back some of the class of 2024 to complete their RSA and RCG training. These qualifications will help students in finding part time work while they transition into future study. 

Stage 5 students are still participating in work experience with many taking the opportunity to spend a week in an industry of interest. This term, we have had students spend time working in many industries including with builders, electricians, plumbers, medical professionals. If you would like to complete work experience, please talk with Mrs Galvin. 

For our commencing Year 12 cohort, information from universities will begin distribution over the coming weeks. Students will attend the University of New England open day in 2025 as well as the Tamworth Rotary Careers Expo and the University Roadshow. For students with intended pathways at particular institutions there are some save the dates below and I will also post regularly about these in the Google Classroom.
