This award goes to Heath for his amazing effort in Writing this week. He wrote 3 reasons why The Great Barrier Reef should be looked after, and was able to add some evidence to back up his reasons. It was wonderful to hear him confidently and proudly share this writing with his classmates. Keep up the great work Heath!
James has been working hard to edit his recount writing. James was using the recount checklist and realised the events in his recount were not in correct order. He went back to change the order of the events and, along the way, fixed up some other errors he noticed as well. Congratulations James! It’s great to see you making such progress as a writer.
This award is presented to Alyrah for displaying resilience when working out a maths problem, and then having the confidence to talk about her answer in front of the whole Year 3/4 level, demonstrating courage, perseverance, and a positive attitude towards learning. Well done, Alyrah!
This award goes to Alvaro for his efforts with including the 6+1 Trait of Voice in his writing. When writing a recount about camp, Alvaro shared his personal feelings about the activities and wrote some of the words in capital letters to stress the level of emotion he was feeling.
