Year 2 Assembly

On the 11th of August we had our year 2 assembly about God’s creation. We were very nervous but excited to sing “If I were a butterfly” to our parents and friends. Afterwards we all felt happy and proud of our performance.

I really liked the actions that we made during our Year 2 assembly. I really loved singing the song, it was a beautiful song about Jesus and it had some of my favourite animals in it.

In the Year 2 assembly, I was really scared and nervous, and then I was so happy when I was actually speaking into the microphone. And once it was over I was sad and wanted to do it again! When Mrs. Habuda was playing the piano, I got scared because I thought I would sing the wrong thing and mess it up.

I really liked the song and the dance moves. When I was talking I got a little shy. It was fun when Mrs. Habuda was playing the piano.
