'Bullying, No Way!' Week

During 'Bullying No Way' Week, our Prep students read The Rainbow Fish story.
This story helped guide conversations about kindness and the value of sharing with others. The Preps then created their own fish artworks in response to discussions about the importance of celebrating our differences while recognising that we all belong.
To continue this conversation at home, you could create a "Family Rainbow Fish" together. Each family member can draw or cut out a fish and decorate it to represent themselves - using colours, patterns, or symbols that show what makes them unique. Then, choose one “shiny scale” to add to each other’s fish, symbolising something kind or special you appreciate about them. You could talk about how even though everyone in your family is different, you all belong together.
