Scoresby Symposium
Our Year 8 students took part in the Scoresby Symposium, showcasing their work after a term of planning and refining.
Their task was to provide solutions to improve the Knox community, making it a safe and thriving place for everyone.
Students approached the challenge with creativity and determination, developing multimodal presentations to share their ideas.
Each group carefully constructed a clear contention, supported it with persuasive arguments, and designed engaging stations that captured the attention of visitors.
We are thrilled with the effort, teamwork, and professionalism our students demonstrated throughout the day.
Congratulations to all Year 8 students for their dedication and outstanding work. We can’t wait to see the innovation and energy they bring to next year’s Symposium!

Library News
The library provides card and board games to play at lunchtimes.
These 'old school' activities are proving to be extremely popular and a lot of fun for our students, who love to form groups and play with their friends.
Card and board games provide positive social interaction as well as various other skills: problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, co-operation skills and counting/memorization capabilities.
The physical games also provide a unique experience and a much-needed break from using digital devices.
The simple act of playing cards in large groups is something that previous generations enjoyed and took for granted.
I am pleased to be able to facilitate this traditional activity and hopes that students will have fond memories of their lunchtimes in the library.
