Empowering Students
Through Peer Power Program:
At Scoresby Secondary College, we are committed to offering programs that help students develop essential life skills, strengthen relationships, and build confidence.
Our very first Peer Powers program has just wrapped up, and it has been a fantastic success.
Students explored the Zones of Regulation to better understand and manage their emotions, discussed “what makes a good friend,” built connections and friendships, worked together as a team, practised holding two-way conversations, and learned how to give genuine compliments.
These activities have helped students enhance their social skills, improve communication, and foster a stronger sense of community.
We are proud of the progress our students have made and look forward to seeing more positive outcomes as our Peer Power Program continues throughout the rest of the year.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff for facilitating these opportunities, and to our students for their enthusiasm and commitment.
