Book Week

Book Week at Park Ridge Primary School was once again a wonderful celebration of reading, creativity and community spirit.
The day began with plenty of smiles and laughter as our teachers were revealed in costumes as Minions, setting a fun tone for the day ahead.
Our much-loved Book Week Parade filled the hard courts with colour, excitement, music and an incredible range of book characters. From superheroes to fairies, wizards to dinosaurs, the participation and creativity was outstanding. Crosby even joined in the fun by dressing up as a circus dog.
After the parade, students joined in three multi-age activities, mixing with different year levels to read and respond to stories together. The books 'We Live in a Bus', 'Spiro and One Little Dung Beetle' inspired a range of creative and engaging tasks that celebrated the joy of reading.
A special thank you goes to our parents and families, whose time, effort and talent shone through in the fabulous costumes — your support helps make this event so special.
Book Week remains one of our most treasured traditions at Park Ridge Primary School — a time to come together as a whole school community and celebrate books and reading.
