From the Principal

Welcome!

Once again we have been very busy here at school!

We have had an amazing book week with our book parade and author visits. It is always so much fun at our Book Week Parade - with both students and staff getting involved in the fun. Thank you to all the parents who help their children to creatively create their favourite characters from their favourite books, and for your attendance at our parade. Thank you also to the authors, Stephen Mushin, Nat Amoore and Jane Godwin for helping inspire our budding authors with humour and creativity. Also, a big thank you to Mrs Sheridan and Mrs Jackson for putting together such a great week.

We launched our Fiesta at last weeks assembly, with Mrs Crozier showing everyone the exciting rides and food stalls! Please take a look at the fiesta page in this newsletter for further information, including the all important wristband sale dates!

We had a whole school House spirit lunch this week, which allows all students from across the school to get together with their fellow house students. The  aim is to build connections across the school, alongside our buddy program, and it was fantastic to see the students enjoying the catch up.

Finally - I have added a post to compass about our parent opinion survey now being open. We currently sitting at 5% participation rates and we would love to have this at a higher figure. We would really appreciate it if you could please find the compass post and follow the links to have your say. The information you provide helps guide us with our long term planning.
