Using Water Responsibly
We have been exploring how to use water responsibly at Dinjerra as part of our water Concept learning this term. In groups, we did an audit of all the different water sources used in Dinjerra. Did you know we have showers at school?
After exploring all of the different water sources and marking them on our area maps, we got to thinking and researching about how we can be smarter with water.
One big difference we could make is remembering to use the half flush when we go to the toilet. That uses 3 litres instead of 6 litres. With the amount of toilet trips students do every day, that is hundreds of litres we could save every week!
Finally we created some information posters to put up around the school, including in the staffroom! Check them out!
