CSSA South Met Zone Swimming Carnival

We had14 students from our school proudly represent HopePoint at the recent CSSA South Met Primary Zone Swimming Carnival on Wednesday 25 February, held at Prairiewood Leisure Centre.

It was a fantastic day of competition, encouragement and school spirit.

Our swimmers demonstrated determination and perseverance in every event. While our students did not progress through to State this year, we are incredibly proud to share that most of HopePoint competitors beat their personal times from our school swimming carnival, an outstanding achievement that reflects their hard work and commitment.

Beyond the results, students showed wonderful sportsmanship, cheering one another on with excellence both in and out of the pool.

Member for Fairfield, Mr David Saliba Visits Year 6

This week our Year 6 students welcomed the Member for Fairfield, Mr David Saliba to their classroom. During his visit, he spoke about his role in representing our local community and explained how Parliament works. Students asked thoughtful questions and were highly engaged throughout the session, demonstrating both curiosity and respect. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of civics and citizenship in a real-world context.

Congratulations to Xavier and Jeremiah who welcomed a baby sister (Kendall) into their family this week.

Uniform Shop open during school holidays

We will be opening the uniform shop for two days Friday 10 April and Friday 17 April 2026. in the school holidays for anyone who would like to purchase any winter uniform.

Lunchbox Reminder

A friendly reminder to please pack your children Crunch &Sip, recess and lunch each day.

Kindly note, we do not have access to food at the school on the chance a meal is forgotten.

Additionally, please ensure your children have a nutritious breakfast to start their morning.

Parents Prayer Group

All parents are warmly invited to join our Parents Prayer Group. 

Last year, this was a very encouraging time as we gathered together to pray for our children, families, and the school community. Whether you’ve joined us before or this would be your first time, everyone is welcome. There’s no pressure, just a simple and supportive space to spend time together in prayer.
