Science - Mrs. Lewis
The Science Room has been buzzing with our newest Prep Scientists and new classroom pets arriving this term! Ms Wahl has brought in some amazing spiny leaf insects for us to watch grow and develop as we start our biology units across all year levels in the school.
Last week we introduced our new pets to all students as they learnt/ revised what it means to be a successful scientist. We are so excited for a year of observing, wondering, investigating and sharing our findings with one another.
Stay tuned for some cute pics in the next newsletter!
Physical Education - Miss Lucie Atherton
Welcome back to P.E! What a fun start to 2026. We have explored some of our favourite benefits of Physical Education, summing it up as a place to learn the skills, strategies, and knowledge we need to go on any adventure that we want to in life! After settling in, our junior grades will begin learning about the fundamentals of athletics, while the senior grades tap in to some Tee Ball! ⚾️
Art - Ms. Taylor
Students have already started the term in Art with the following units of work:
Preps- Collage.
1/2- Portraits.
3/4- Still Life.
5/6- Australian Artists.
In Prep-Grade 2 Drama, students have begun their unit on Stories.
I am looking forward to seeing the creativity and ideas our students will bring to the Arts this term.
