Learning Community 2

Welcome back to Term 1! 

We are having a great time getting to know our new classes and excited for everything we've got happening this year! 

We have been busy labelling our important items, completing some testing to help us plan our learning journeys, and have made a start on some Reading, Writing and Maths activities.

In Maths, we found out a lot about each other when we asked each other questions and graphed the responses. We revised area and perimeter when we drew our names on grid paper, and played a few card games such as 1, 2, 3 Switch to get our brains back in Maths mode. 

We've listened to the story 'Are we there yet?' and made postcards from the destinations, written diary entries, and retold the story in comic form. 

 During Writing, we have create 5 Senses poems based on our holidays, written a narrative through the eyes of our school bag, and completed a diary entry from a day in the holidays.
