Italian

ITALIAN
This term in Italian, our Grade 3/4 students have been getting their hands dirty — in the best way!
We’re starting an Italian classroom garden as part of our unit on il giardino, and the students are learning the Italian names for all sorts of plants and herbs. They’ve been planting seeds and cuttings, watching them grow, and using Italian words to label and talk about what they see.
It’s been a fun, hands-on way to bring language learning to life, and the students are loving it!
