Theatresports: Impro Australia Intermediate Competition
On Wednesday 5 November, five of our talented after-school Drama Club students represented our School in this year’s Impro Australia Intermediate Theatresports Competition.
Theatresports is an exciting event where schools from across the State come together for a night of fast-paced, unscripted theatre. Teams are challenged to create improvised scenes on the spot, guided only by random prompts and specific performance rules.
Our students performed brilliantly, securing 5th place out of 10 teams—an impressive achievement in a highly competitive field! Their creativity, teamwork, and quick thinking shone throughout the evening.
We’re thrilled to announce that the team has advanced to the Semi-Finals, which will be held at Monte School on 18 November.
Congratulations to our team, Cassidy (C8), Charlie (C7), Violet (C8), Vaugh (G8) and Rita (C8). We wish them the best of luck as they prepare for the next round of competition!
