This award is presented to Sienna for the wonderful improvement she has made with her writing. Sienna now has the confidence to write sentences, even if she doesn't know how to spell all the words. Sienna has been practising her writing at home, and always tries her hardest at school. Well done, Sienna!
This award goes to Samuel for the outstanding perseverance and effort he has been showing in Writing. His independence, focused attitude and determination to improve is amazing, and we are so proud you Samuel. Keep up the fantastic work!
This award is presented to Leo for his outstanding ability to help others within the classroom. Leo is always an active listener during class discussions and consistently contributes his well-thought-out ideas. When completing tasks, he lends a hand to others by helping them find tricky words on their charts or log in to online programs. Leo, it has been a pleasure to see you grow this year. I am so proud to be your teacher.
Jordan is receiving this award for consistently demonstrating all the Scoresby HEART values. He listens attentively in class, transitions between activities quietly and respectfully, and always completes his work to the best of his ability. You should be very proud of yourself, Jordan!
Kaleb is receiving this award for the amazing progress he is making with his Write2Read codes. He pays close attention during our morning rigour lessons, recalling the sounds that codes make, and writing the codes when he hears their sounds. Keep up the fantastic work, Kaleb!

Miheli has made an outstanding start at Scoresby Primary School, consistently demonstrating the Scoresby Super 10 values, and following teacher instructions with enthusiasm and respect. She has already become a valued member of our school community, showcasing her cricketing talent in the school team at Division Sports Day, and participating in the girls’ cricket clinic on Tuesday nights. What a fantastic addition Miheli is to our classroom!
This award goes to Jaxx for the enthusiasm and curiosity he showed during our excursion to Scienceworks! Jaxx eagerly explored each area with his classmates, showing great interest and excitement for learning. He listened carefully during the Planetarium shows and asked thoughtful questions to deepen his understanding. Jaxx, we’re so glad you enjoyed the excursion!
This award goes to Jesse for the amazing effort he put into writing his biography on Adam Sandler! Jesse did a great job researching and organising his information into clear subheadings. He carefully drafted, edited and revised his work before publishing his finished biography on Canva. Jesse, you’ve worked so hard on your writing! We are very proud of you - keep it up!

Congratulations Beaux. You learned all the chords for The Scientist and really focused while we were rehearsing this song. Excellent work.
This award goes to Taoipu for the outstanding explanation he gave about why we have seasons. He used technical language to give a clear explanation of how the Earth’s tilt causes our seasons, along with a detailed and labelled diagram.
This award goes to Hope for her fantastic sculpture of a bird. Hope successfully explored line, shape pattern and symmetry, and demonstrated unique thinking when attaching her bird to a wood base. Terrific work Hope!
