On Tuesday, 25 November, some of our Year 3/4 students will be speaking at assembly about our recent camp to Don Bosco, Safety Beach.
We warmly invite all parents and families to come along and join us if you’re able. There are sure to be some entertaining stories and wonderful photos to share from our time at camp!
As part of our upcoming Inquiry project on gravity and friction, students will be designing and creating their own marble runs using recyclable materials.
If you have any of the following items at home, we would be very grateful if you could start sending them in from Week 8 (Monday 24th):
Bubble wrap
Cardboard
Cardboard boxes
Cardboard tubes
Corrugated cardboard
Newspaper
Paper cups
Paper plates
Sandpaper
This past week in Inquiry, students have been exploring magnetic forces—how magnets attract and repel, and the ways these forces can be used in everyday life. They enjoyed experimenting with different materials to see which were magnetic and testing how magnets interact through various challenges.

Our Year 3/4 students had a fantastic time at Don Bosco Camp in Safety Beach! They embraced every activity with enthusiasm, from the high-energy Game Show to games of Kickball, I Declare a War, and the always-exciting Horseshoe Game. Students showed great teamwork, gave everything a go, and enjoyed plenty of laughs along the way. A highlight for many was the delicious food, which kept everyone fuelled and happy throughout the camp. It was a wonderful experience for all!

Have a great week!
