YEAR 8
Building Strong Connections

Head of Year 8
In Week 6, during Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Year 8 students reflected on their year, recognising people and moments they are grateful for. They explored how strong connections have supported their wellbeing and learning, then organised upcoming assessments using their planner and shared plans with Pastoral Mentors.
On Tuesday, 25 November, Year 8 will celebrate with their Community Day at Sugarworld Adventure Park. This day is about coming together to celebrate the year and the strong connections students have built. Parent permission slips have been emailed. Thank you to those who have already completed the permission slip. If you haven’t yet, please complete it soon so your child can be part of this special celebration.
Uniform expectations, including hair and jewellery guidelines, remain in place for the entire term. We expect all students to uphold these standards every day. Consistency is important for maintaining pride in our school and a positive learning environment. Thank you for ensuring Year 8 students meet these expectations right through to the end of the year.

Please check your email as it contains essential information on the 2026 Fee and Levy Schedule and other 2026 updates.
