Division Tennis Finals
What an incredible day of tennis! On Tuesday, October 21st, 20 of our talented Year 5/6 students proudly represented Greenvale Primary School at the Woodlands Division Hot Shots Tennis Finals, held at the Merrifield Tennis Club.
With both the Boys/Mixed and Girls tournaments running side by side, our students faced off against five other schools in a series of exciting and hard-fought matches. The Boys/Mixed team showed fantastic skill, teamwork, and determination — going through the entire day undefeated to claim the title of Woodlands Division Champions!
The Girls’ team also delivered an outstanding performance. Knowing they needed a win in their final match to take out the championship, they rose to the occasion in style — securing victory and finishing the day undefeated as well!
Both teams have now qualified for the North Metro Region Finals on November 7th, where they’ll proudly represent Greenvale once again.
Congratulations to all players on an amazing achievement and displaying all our school values proudly across the day.

Division Cricket Competition
On Friday, October 24th, Greenvale Primary School’s Year 5/6 students hit the pitch for the Woodlands Division Cricket competition! With both Boys/Mixed and Girls teams in action, our players faced off against five other schools in a full day of exciting cricket.
Both teams showed fantastic energy, teamwork, and a positive attitude throughout the day. While they finished 5th overall, the effort, encouragement, and sportsmanship on display were outstanding — a true reflection of Greenvale’s school values.
It was wonderful to see our students supporting each other, learning new skills, and enjoying every moment out on the field.

Division Volleyball Tournament
On Thursday, October 23rd, Greenvale Primary School’s talented volleyball team took part in the Woodlands Division Volleyball Tournament, hosted by Craigieburn South Primary School. Competing against five other schools, our Boys' team showcased incredible teamwork, energy, and determination throughout the day.
After a series of thrilling matches, the boys powered their way into the grand final! In a tense and hard-fought contest, they narrowly missed out on the top spot — but their effort, resilience, and sportsmanship were something to be truly proud of.
It was a fantastic day of volleyball, filled with great rallies, big serves, and plenty of Greenvale spirit!
