Year 6 After School Rehearsals

Dear Year 6 Families,

Rehearsals for the musical will take place in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) Auditorium on Mondays after school during Term 2. These are the only drama rehearsals, so attendance is compulsory. For Duty of Care requirements, students must be picked up from the PAC by their carer, or a note needs to be provided to Mrs Carpenter or Mrs Wicks prior to rehearsals beginning (for example, if a student is being picked up by someone else). In the past, the staff at OSHC have collected students who would normally be at OSHC for that afternoon, so please check with OSHC about this. Wherever possible, we have allowed for earlier pick-up times, so please check the schedule carefully.

Students will need to bring extra food (breaks will be given), water bottles, their scripts, and a pencil. We also recommend bringing a quiet activity (no devices). Sometimes a student has a break whilst we rehearse a scene they are not involved in. We try to keep this to a minimum, but it is not always possible to avoid.

Students already know all of their lines.
