School Council

Education Sub Committee

The policies of the school guide and describe the main processes, procedures and operations of the school. Not all issues require a policy as many routine matters can be dealt with by developing simple procedures.

The Education Sub-committee of School Council is responsible for the development and review of policies at Gardenvale Primary School as they undergo extensive consultation with students, staff and parents. Once the consultation process is complete, policies if required, are ratified at School Council meetings.

The policies are reviewed on a cycle, in line with the Education Department guidelines.
