QGSSSA Reconciliation Round
The QGSSSA is proud to be celebrating National Reconciliation Week in conjunction with Round 9 of our Autumn Fixtures.
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2024, NOW MORE THAN EVER, is a reminder that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will - and must - continue.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Clayfield College Parents and Friends for their generous support as proud sponsors of the Reconciliation uniforms. Thanks to their proud sponsorship, the Reconciliation uniforms adorned with the Clayfield College QGSSSA Bunya Designs artwork will be showcased by all Opens teams during Round 9 of QGSSSA Basketball, Football, and Touch Football matches against St Hilda’s School.
For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, let’s choose to create a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.
Celebrating the Cross Country team's triumphs at the 35th QGSSSA Championships
The 35th QGSSSA Cross Country Championships held on Saturday 18 May were a true testament to the spirit and determination of our Clayfield College athletes. Competing against over 890 runners on a challenging 3km course, our team demonstrated extraordinary dedication and resilience.
