Principal's Message

Dr Andrew Cousins - Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

On Wednesday 5 June, our Clayfield family will once again join together to celebrate the impact of philanthropy and raise funds to support the important work of the Clayfield College Foundation!

Our 2024 Giving Day Goal

When it comes to spirit, we know our Clayfield family has it in spades! Because of this, we are aiming to exceed the participation levels achieved at the 2023 Giving Day (226 donors).

In 2024, we are dreaming BIG and LOUD, and hope to have 300 donors contribute to Giving Day.

Like last year, there will be a Spirit Prize awarded to the House who has the most donors. A little reminder on last year's results below:

Where do your donations go?

On Giving Day, we’re raising funds to support scholarships and the ongoing redevelopment and refurbishment of our campus.

As a College, we acknowledge the ongoing support from the Foundation to invest in projects that have an immediate impact on our current students. In recent years such projects have included:

  • the development of the Strength and Conditioning and Cardio Studios in the Ida Kennedy Physical Education Centre
  • the construction of the Black Box Drama Studio
  • refurbishment of the Carolyn Hauff Boarding House kitchen and dining room
  • later in 2024, the commencement of the Learn to Swim pool project.

Let's show the strength of our community this Giving Day! As we proudly grow as a College, let's also grow in our levels of support - imagine the collective impact we could have!

We hope you will join us for what will undoubtably be an unforgettable day.

Together, let's continue to dream BIG and LOUD in 2024! Enjoy our 2024 Giving Day video at the link below.

Kind regards,
