June 28 - July 11

Consent and deposit is due on Compass by Friday 7th June (TODAY) to secure your spot!

Elisabeth Murdoch College is excited to open expression of interests for the 2025 Central Australia Camp. This camp is offered to students in Year 11 2025. The camp will take place from Saturday 28th June to Friday 11th July 2025 (last week of term 2 and 1st week of school holidays).

Students will travel to Darwin by air-conditioned coach, Litchfield National Park, Kakadu National Park, Mataranka Thermal Pool, Alice Springs, Watarrka National Park, Uluru, Kata Tjuta National Park and Coober Pedy.

The Australian Curriculum places a strong emphasis on a society that is culturally diverse and values our Aboriginal culture and history. Educational tours to the NT expose students to external environments and assist educators in delivering practical experiences to reinforce General Capabilities, Learning Areas and Cross-curriculum Priorities such as Humanities and Social Science, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Culture, Science and Sustainability.

We encouraged all students interested to speak with parents and careers to complete the expression of interest form on compass. The success of this camp running in 2025 will be based around the number for students indicating their interest at this time and prior to Friday 7th June.
