John XXIII Netball Club

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend.

There were no games last week due to Netball WA Association Championships.

Congratulations to Molly Pekin, Year 10, whose PNA team won their division.

This week we welcomed two clubs from Singapore to play social netball. Crossroads Singapore visited on Tuesday and played games against our Years 10, 11 and 12 students, and Singapore Netball Academy visited on Friday to play against our Year 5 teams. Netball is played by more than 20 million people in more than 80 countries worldwide and it was a great opportunity for our players to play another nation and make new friends.

  • There are three games left to play this term.
  • The wet weather continues into the weekend. Netball is a winter sport, and games will be played in the rain.
  • A game may be cancelled if there is hail, lightning or extreme winds (>100km/hr).
  • If a timeslot is cancelled, coaches and managers will be advised as soon as possible.
  • One timeslot or game cancelled does not mean subsequent games will be cancelled.
  • You can follow the Perth Netball Association's Facebook page for updates.

John XXIII Netball Hoodie

We are introducing an optional John XXIII Netball Club hoodie that can be worn to and from netball. For this year only the hoodie is available for the introductory price of $40 plus the cost of any additional embroidery.

  • Sizes run small. You can try on a size at the Uniform Shop
  • Option to have your child’s surname embroidered on the front for a small extra cost.
  • Orders will take approximately three weeks to arrive in the Uniform Shop, customers will then be notified when they are ready for collection.
  • Hoodies can be ordered online.

Please let your coach know as soon as possible if you will miss your game on Saturday 15 June because you are attending the College's Music Camp.
