LET THE GAMES BEGIN - synopsis

A group of friends are excited to win the grand prize on a game show, but it suddenly disappears! They travel to different game shows, asking if anyone has seen their prize. Along the way, they make new friends and learn important lessons. They realize that the real prize is the adventure and the experiences they share together. In the end, they return home, happy and proud of what they've discovered. Join us for "Let the Games Begin" and see how the journey can be the greatest prize of all!

COSTUMES

You will find information below about the costumes that are needed for production. If you have any questions, please reach out to your classroom teacher or Miss Wickes. Costumes will be needed for our dress rehearsal in the first week back of Term 3.

Preps - plain black pants/skirt (with black stockings), plain black t-shirt and black runners or leather type shoes, black socks. Sparkly vest will be provided. Hair tied back neatly. Small amount of makeup is optional.

Grade 1 - green/brown/cream or army print t-shirt, plain black or army print pants, black socks, black runners or leather type shoes. Headband or scarf will be provided. Hair tied back neatly. Small amount of makeup is optional.

Grade 2 - plain black pants/black skirt and black stockings, plain white t-shirt, black runners or leather type shoes. Apron and scarf will be provided. Hair tied back neatly. Small amount of makeup is optional.

Grade 3 - plain black pants or tartan school skirt with black stockings, plain white collared short or long sleeve shirt, tie, black runners or leather type shoes. Hair will need to be combed with gel, or in a pigtail/bun/ponytail. Number prop will be provided. Small amount of makeup is optional.

Grade 4 - plain black pants, coloured top depending on group (please check with classroom teacher as to what group your child is in), black runners or leather type shoes. Hair tied back neatly. Small amount of makeup is optional.

Any G5/6 student that has a main role (speaking or non speaking), parents will receive an email about their child's costume from Miss Wickes.

Grade 5 class item -  Please check with the classroom teacher as to which group your child is in. Small amount of makeup is optional. Hair needs to be neat unless otherwise stated.

• Musicians - music t-shirt, jeans, runners, scarf will be provided. Small amount of makeup is optional. Crazy hair optional.
• Sports - sports top, shorts, long socks and runners. Small amount of makeup is optional.
• Actress/Actors - black pants/black skirt and black stockings, colourful sparkly top (any colour), hair neat. Small amount of makeup is optional.
• Horse riders - brown/black thick leggings, white t-shirt, brown/black cowboy vest, hat optional. Scarf provided. Black leather type shoes or black runners

Grade 6 class item - Please check with the classroom teacher as to which group your child is in. Small amount of makeup is optional. Hair needs to be neat unless otherwise stated.

• History - plain black or brown pants, white t-shirt, brown or black button up vest
• Business - plain black pants (dress pants preferable) or knee length or longer plain colour skirt with black stockings, plain black leather type school shoes or runners, white collared long sleeve shirt, tie
• Visual Arts - plain black pants or knee length black skirt with stockings, plain white t-shirt that can be painted, plain black leather type school shoes or runners, sparkly vest.
• Dance - (main characters refer to email from Miss Wickes), white t-shirt, black knee length skirt (with black stockings) or black pants, gold sash will be provided. Plain black leather type school shoes or runners. Hair tied back in ponytail or pigtails.
• Science - plain black pants, white t-shirt, long white lab coat, plain black leather type school shoes or runners
• Sport - any sports jersey (preferably soccer), shorts, knee length white socks, runners
