Griffins Netball Club was well represented at the WA Association Championships over the long weekend. Over 20 Griffins netball players as well as many of our Griffins coaches, umpires and managers travelled to Perth to represent Albany.

Our athletes are to be commended for their good sportsmanship, passion, sense of fun and amazing netball skills.

The Under 16s came away with a win - congratulations to all!

Griffins Hockey News

The South West Junior Carnival in Bunbury was held over the long weekend. It was fantastic seeing so many of our Griffins hockey players represent the Lower Great Southern. Over 25 of our Griffins hockey players travelled to Bunbury, with many of our coaches, managers, and umpires.

Congratulations to the Years Seven and Eight Girls' team, which won the Carnival division. Thank you to the LGSHA for coordinating an excellent weekend of hockey.

The Perth Reds Volleyball Club is visiting Albany between 5 June and 9 June. This is a first for Albany with one of the Premier Perth clubs visiting our region. The Griffins Volleyball committee would strongly encourage all our volleyball participants to make the most of this opportunity and get down to the game on the Saturday night and sign up for a few clinics.
