VCE Italian

On Tuesday 4th of June, Senior students of Italian (from Year 10 and Year 12) participated in the annual Dante Aligheri Poetry Competition at the University of Melbourne.

It was a very competitive event with school participation from across Victoria. 

I am happy to announce that three of our Maribyrnong College students made it to the finals held on Tuesday 25 June:

• Micheal Aldieri of Year 10
• Natasha Brown of Year 12
• Sasha Hannay Robertson of Year 12

Michael Aldieri was then selected, as one of 15 (out of 300 participants across Australia) to compete in the grand final of the Poetry Competition.  Winners will be announced during the school holidays.

What a brilliant effort: our students have made Maribyrnong College proud.
