Year 8 - Mission to Mars

Year 8 ACE Science classes participated in a Mission to Mars excursion at the Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) in Strathmore. It was a full day excursion where students had fun acting as mission controllers and as astronauts. Students dressed up in space suits and travelled to Mars, explored the planet and collected rock samples which they brought to earth to analyse, using scientific instruments.
