What's happening in the Art Room?
Last Thursday saw a wonderful incursion with the Point Nepean Men's Shed and our Year 4 students in the Art Room.
Project Piano, came about as Matt Hienenan Williams father in year 4 donated parts of a family piano that he dismantled. Taking 8 hours to pull apart, those amazing piano keys and strikers have now been put into a new use, Piano Puppets. What a great way to up-cycle something that he couldn't part with.
A big thank you to the Point Nepean Men’s Shed, Terry Phippen, Graham Goudie, Darrel Mackay, Ric Crandon and Matthew Heinnen , Williams father for their participation in the incursion.
The intergenerational participation and interaction with our students was so lovely to see.
