A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,
Last Friday we gathered as a school community to open our school year officially and launch our school theme for 2025, “We are Pilgrims of Hope”.
This theme embodies who we are as a school community and connects deeply with our motto, “With Faith and Courage.”
Like pilgrims on a journey, we walk together toward a brighter future, trusting that the
path we take, with all its challenges and triumphs, will lead us to something greater.
We face this journey with faith in our abilities and the courage to overcome obstacles, knowing that each step brings us closer to our full potential.
I would like to thank Fr. Joe Taylor (Parish Priest), Leanne Pellegrino (Catholic Identity Leader), the staff, and all our students who made this Opening Mass such a special occasion, particularly the beautiful singing.
Congratulations Mr. Lindon
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Mr. Ted Lindon got engaged to his partner Sophie, over the weekend! Please join us in congratulating them both on this wonderful milestone. We wish them all the best as they begin this exciting new chapter together!
Hello Night
Last Thursday It was lovely to see so many families attend our annual Hello Night. It was great to see our students take their families on a guided tour of our school highlighting all the wonderful things that are happening in our classrooms. Lots of people enjoyed their journey to Japan when visiting Wood Sensei in the languages room.

Parent Reminders
Food for Student Birthdays
We wanted to kindly remind you that while we love celebrating your child’s special day, we ask that you refrain from sending in birthday treats such as lollies or cupcakes.
This helps us maintain a healthy and inclusive environment for all students.
Thank you for your understanding.
Parking and Using the Crossing
We’d like to kindly remind everyone that the staff car park is not a designated drop-off or pick-up location. For everyone’s safety, please follow the road rules and avoid parking across Barker Ave residents' driveways or bus stops. Checking road signage will help keep our community safe and running smoothly.
Additionally, we have noticed that some students and parents are not using the school crossing correctly. We encourage everyone to make use of the school crossing and give a friendly wave to Trish as you pass by—she would love to meet you!
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our school area safe for all.
