Foster carers contribute immensely to children who are unable to be to be raised by their own families; increasing the likelihood of these less fortune children getting a good education and growing up to be well-balanced and contributing adults.  However, we currently have a shortage of foster carers in the CQ area, and are hoping that seeing our ad in school newsletters may encourage more families to pursue this much needed and valued role.

Local kids need local foster carers.

We are looking for people who are able to provide a secure, nurturing environment and are

willing to take on a challenging yet immensely rewarding role. Foster carers can be people of all

ages, cultural backgrounds and walks of life.

It doesn’t matter if you are single, a couple, or a family with children of your own. You might live

in a regional centre or in a small community, not working or working part-time or fulltime.
