Clean Up Australia and Litter Audit

Last week on Friday the students worked in teams to pick up any bits of litter around the yard as part of Clean Up Australia and our Resource Smart Litter Audit. They all showed great Responsibility and Respect for the environment. Even though it seems really clear of litter, when we scoured the yard, we found all kinds of bits of litter. We were surprised by some of the things we found and also the bags we filled. It was mainly bits of soft plastic and some scraps of cardboard, but also some bits of hard plastic from toys, textas and containers. On the other hand, we also found a beautiful snake skin!
