Principal's Report

Welcome Jasmine Roic

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Jasmine as an Education Support Teacher Aide to Newham Primary School. She will be working with us for half days throughout the week to provide support across the classrooms this year. 

Curriculum Day

Tomorrow is a Curriculum Day. Teachers will be focussing on Mathematics teaching and learning and SWPBS while students are away.

NAPLAN

NAPLAN will be happening for Grades 3 and 5 over the next couple of weeks.

The Literacy sessions will be conducted next week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Numeracy will be the following Monday. Catch up sessions for any students that miss one will happen after that. All sessions are scheduled for 9:30am.

Kitchen

Grades 2-3-4 and 5-6 will have two Kitchen sessions before the end of term. The first one will be next week on Tuesday for Grade 2-3-4. This is such a special opportunity for teamwork, practising responsibility, trying different foods and applying practical numeracy and literacy skills. Please let us know if you're available as a parent volunteer, we appreciate the extra hands and eyes
