We have had a very busy fortnight at Cunderdin. Firstly, I would like to congratulate all the students who were lucky enough to receive a donut for having the perfect behaviour record in the first five weeks of term. These donuts were well received by the students.
The Year 12 students travelled to Perth Arena on Tuesday to participate in the RAC bstreetsmart along with 9000 other students from high schools across WA.
This excursion featured a crash scene re-enactment attended by the emergency services, just as it would occur at a real crash site. The students also had the opportunity to listen to speakers who have been directly impacted by road trauma and as well as talk with the emergency services personnel.
The main message of 'make good choices on the road' was highlighted in each of these stories.
A very big thank you to the Year 12 students. Your behaviour and maturity shown on the day was of an extremely high standard and the staff who attend were proud to be seen with you.
During the school holidays, as part of Youth Week, Northam is holding some events. Please click on the link below for details.
To all the Year 11 students and the staff who are attending the North West Tour, have a wonderful time. I can't wait to hear all about it at the start of Term 2.
