NAPLAN

The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) for Year 7 and 9 students started this week. The student behaviour and attitude throughout this week has been exemplary. Even though some students are reluctant to be involved, they all turned up and got on with the task presented to them with good humour and grace. Even those who said they couldn’t do it, had a go.

We can’t ask more than that from anyone for anything, so I would like to thank the students for this mature attitude!

Year 7 Camp

The Year 7s enjoyed their time away at camp this week and have returned with new and stronger friendships. They've also developed a closer bond with each other and the teachers that spent time with them. Thanks to the people who gave up their time to help support these students.

There were some anxious students who didn’t really want to head off into the unknown, but by the end of their time away, were glad that they had pushed themselves out of their comfort zone to go with benefits outweighing the drawbacks.
