MPPS Student Values Awards

Students who have demonstrated our school values (Respect, Kindness, Gratitude) are selected from each cohort to receive an award certificate and our new Values wristband to wear to school each day. The students receive this award at a cohort assembly that is conducted twice per term.

 

Well done to the children below who recieved our new Values award.

 

Prep

James ~ James has had a wonderful start to school at MPPS, showing our school values from day 1. James is a considerate friend to all, consistently showing respect to his peers and teachers. James displays beautiful listening in the classroom, and always looks for ways to help others. He is a shining example of our values at MPPS. Well done, James! We are so lucky to have you in Prep A.

Indi ~ Indi has had a terrific start to school! She consistently shows kindness to her peers and teachers, which makes her a delight to have in the classroom. Indi looks for ways to do kind and helpful things, whether it’s sharing with a friend or helping to tidy up the classroom without being asked.  Her warm and friendly nature helps create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone. We are so lucky to have Indi as part of our class!

Jonte ~ Jonte greets every situation with an infectious, warm smile! She consistently uses beautiful manners with her friends, teachers and community. Jonte is a wonderful friend and part of our class, making everyone feel welcome and supported. We are so lucky to have you in Prep A, Jonte! Her warm, appreciative nature is an inspiration to all to show compassion and gratitude daily. Well done, Jonte!

Lucas ~ Lucas has been showing kindness by using lovely, kind words when observing others' work in art.  He enjoys sharing his joy with the bubbles at break times showing kindness by making bubbles for others to enjoy.

Keep it up Lucas!

Year 1/2 

Amelie ~ Amelie is a shining star at MPPS. She consistently demonstrates respect towards everyone she encounters. Amelie is considerate and fosters a positive and inclusive environment by valuing diverse perspectives and showing empathy in her interactions. She always listens actively to her peers, teachers, and staff, promoting the culture of respect at our school. Whether through her words or actions, Amelie serves as a role model for how respect can strengthen relationships and create a supportive community. Amelie, you are a true delight!

Olive ~ Olive radiates kindness! Every day, she walks into school with a cheerful smile and a positive mindset, always aiming to treat others with the same respect and care she hopes to receive. As a considerate and inclusive friend, Olive makes a true effort to ensure that everyone new and old to our school feels accepted and valued. She shows thoughtfulness not just to her peers, but also to her teachers, consistently displaying respect and gratitude. Olive’s deep understanding of kindness brightens every corner of our classroom, creating a warm, positive environment wherever she goes. Keep shining, Olive! Your kindness makes our school a better, happier place for all of us.

Beatrix ~ Beatrix displays gratitude every day. She uses her manners to say ‘thank you’ when something is given to her. Beatrix values other people and appreciates her time with them. When she is faced with challenges or things don’t go as expected, Beatrix keeps calm and looks for something positive to focus on. Well done, Beatrix.

Flo ~ Flo watches and thinks very carefully about how people are feeling and that helps her to know what they need. She is always respectful of others and is terrific to have as part of a group. Flo cares about other people and is willing to help when help is needed. She is a wonderful friend to many students and shows wonderful respect during class time by listening carefully and doing her best. Well done Flo! 

Lennox ~ Lennox shows kindness at school in many ways. He is very inclusive and willingly works with everyone in his class. He always welcomes his partner or group to the task to be completed together. Lennox makes other people feel special by caring about their interests and listening to them speak about things that are important to them. He is also very kind and supportive of his peers by congratulating them when they have achieved great things with their learning and also cheers them on and comforts them when they need support and are still trying hard to achieve something. Thank you, Lennox, for the kindness you show each day at MPPS. You are a wonderful role model for all of us.

Year 3/4

Mattieu ~ Matthieu displays respect when he comes to the office to ask permission to retrieve a ball that has gone over the fence.  He is polite,  respectful of staff and always uses his manners.

Ella ~ Ella is receiving this award today because she models care and consideration toward her teachers and classmates. She is thoughtful in her words and actions and friendly to everyone around her. Ella always arrives at school with a smile and positive words. She is ready to jump into her activities and quick to help those in need.  Ella makes a fabulous working partner and ensures that she is fair and inclusive. Thank you for being such a wonderfully kind person, Ella, and congratulations!

Jack ~ Jack shows his gratitude for all aspects of school life,throughout his day.He embraces all learning opportunities with a positive attitude and is ready to be challenged.Jack appreciates everything he has including the friendships he has made since he started at MPPS this year. Jack is a wonderful Values role model for everyone. Congratulations Jack.

Saci ~ Saci is a wonderful role model of our school value, Respect. She consistently demonstrates respect to everyone by her actions and words. She is an active and enthusiastic listener and responds thoughtfully, respecting others' opinions. Saci is a friendly and inclusive member of our school community. Congratulations Saci.

Year 5/6

Bonnie ~ Bonnie is a shining example of Respect in our Middle Park Primary School community. An active listener, Bonnie is consistently attentive to her teachers and peers, always responding thoughtfully. She lends a hand to anyone who may need and often helps others without needing to be asked. Bonnie's actions inspire those around her to be considerate and polite, creating a welcoming and positive environment for all. Whether in the classroom, in the yard, or around the school, Bonnie demonstrates the power of respect through her words and actions every day. We are proud to recognize her for setting such a wonderful example of our school value of Respect!

Cleo ~ Cleo’s kindness is evident from the moment she walks into the classroom each morning. She is one of the first to offer assistance to her teacher or peers in need, and often takes the initiative to be kind without others asking — a shining example of how we should all demonstrate kindness at MPPS. Cleo’s ability to be caring and show a positive attitude demonstrates her as a great year five role model. Well done, Cleo. We are lucky to have you at our school! 

Sophie ~ Sophie has shown an immense sense of gratitude towards her learning this year. She consistently arrives to class with a bright smile and a positive attitude, not only towards her own learning but also toward those around her. She is always kind and respectful to her teachers and classmates, appreciating their support and contributions. Sophie listens attentively, gives her best effort, seeks help when needed and is always well mannered and appreciative of that support. Sophie should be extremely proud of her well deserved recognition. Well done!
