TARADALE MINERAL SPRINGS

Thanks everyone!  We've now got enough people on the roster ( a few spare spots if anyone wants to come along, but definitely enough volunteers to get by).  The more baked goods, preserves, plants and crafts we have to sell the better, so if you can possibly bake or make something, or bring along eggs or produce to sell that would be great.  This stall is a great fundraiser for the school.  

 

If you are baking something Saturday please drop it at the stall first thing Sunday morning.  If you need to drop it somewhere Saturday let us know via a WhatsApp group and there may be another parent that you can drop it to who will take it to the stall for you.

 

*Just a reminder that we need an ingredients list along with all baked items.  Label your containers and we will drop them to the MP classroom for pick up on Monday.

 

CHOOKS

Thanks to everyone who has signed up to the chook WhatsApp group.  We'll aim to get chickens in term two so we'll have a working bee prior to make sure that everything is ready for them.  If you'd like to sign up to be part of the chook group you can join here: TPS Chook Group

 

BUNTING

Operation bunting is going well! We now have hundreds of colourful flags so thanks to everyone who has donated fabric and time to cut them out.  Once we get the stall out of the way this weekend we'll look at having a final sewing bee some time in the following couple of weeks to make up the strings of flags and then we can decorate!

 

SCHOOL LIBRARY

Frances and Karly are making great progress on the library but are still needing helpers to clean shelves and books.  There is a list of jobs up on the wall so anyone who has a spare 15 mins can drop in and do a bit.  Any help is much appreciated

 

Weekly :

  • Breakfast club: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday *Still looking for volunteers to run Monday and Tuesday please!
  • Garden Club: Friday 8:45 - 9:30

 

 

We  use this page to update our community about the Parents and Friends Group activities and how you can be involved.

All parents and carers at the school and friends (community members) are welcome to join the group.

 

In collaboration with the school,  fundraising events will support areas at the school including:

  • home readers 
  • library books
  • games and quiet activities for students during break times
  • small appliances for the SAKG kitchen classes
  • coffee machine for the Breakfast Club volunteers
  • new marquee for fundraisers
  • garden beautification
  • playground toys
