Hello Foundation Families,
What an amazing week we have had! The sounds we learnt this week were: m, c, o, g, f, d. We will continue to practice writing these sounds and building words with the sounds we know over the next week.
In Maths, we explored patterns and shapes. We did rotations with shapes, continued patterns and even did an amazing 'Maths Madness' in our Play Based Learning.
We started up Library this week with the amazing Jo! We got to read a story with her and borrow a book to take home. Library will happen every week of term, but will always finish up the second last week of term. So this term we will continue borrowing up until Week 9, where we will return all our books to give the library time to replenish for the following term. Students must have a library bag to borrow a book. Orange folders are not considered a library bag.
Information Night is Thursday the 20th of March. We are hoping for engagement from every family on this night, as it's a night that we can answer lots of questions, show you what our year looks like and then show you what the students have been up to in Term 1. Please fill out this form so we can answer any questions you may have: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1AOi-4dWRaUBvyXRbOyvpVls6AKkHgJm5yAZ6luGxSsY/edit
Kind Regards,
