LUCAS LEAP

The beginning of term 4 has been a wonderful start for the students at Lucas LEAP. 

We celebrated Valentine's Day and the students enjoyed decorating heart shaped cookies with icing and sprinkles. The students also made heart shaped magnets that they could take home to keep for themselves or give to someone else. 

This term we will be focusing on "emotions".  We continue to have conversations about different emotions and how they make us feel. The students have enjoyed games such as charades and 'spot the emotion' to continue the conversation and make students aware of different feelings. We have been making bookmarks about the different emotional regulation zones that exist within the Lucas LEAP space.
