Year 7 student, Steph selected to play Baseball for nationals in Rockford, Illinois

In January, Junior Baseball player Steph travelled to Sydney to compete in the Legacy Girls Rising Stars national baseball tournament. 

After a standout performance, Steph was one of 14 U12 girls selected from across Australia to play for the Team Legacy Australia team at the 'Baseball for All' Nationals in Rockford, Illinois, USA. 

In July, Steph joined over 1,000 players and coaches from around the world to compete in the 11th annual 'Baseball for All' Nationals, the largest girls baseball tournament in the Country and U.S. history.

"I competed against teams from all around America and the world, from countries such as Brazil, Canada and South Africa. It was an amazing opportunity and I absolutely loved it." - Steph (Year 7 student)

The 12U team won the 'Heart and Hustle' Tournament award, while the 16U Team won a bronze medal.

SAPSASA Girls Soccer Team Championship Results

Pernella was one of twelve Year 5/6 Girls selected to play for the Girls Division 1 Soccer Metro team for the South Australian Primary Schools Amateur Sports Association (SAPSASA). 

The State Carnival was held at ServiceFM Stadium, where Pernella and her team played six 45-minute games across three days, competing against other Div 1 Girls metro teams. 

They played so well, they took home the Div 1 Championship! Congratulations to Pernella and her teammates. 

Students Win the Young Writers Award 📝

The South Australian English Teachers Association (SAETA) creates an annual writing competition for young writers. 

Students from Foundation to Year 12 can enter and write about any topic, in either poetry or prose, up to 1,000 words. 

Congratulations to Year 10 students Charlotte and Ziyang for winning prizes and an honourable mention to Millicent (Year 10) and Eva (Year 9), who were shortlisted for the Young Writers Award.
