SLC GRAND OPENING 

A NEW ERA BEGINS: SENIOR LEARNING CENTRE IS OFFICIALLY OPEN!

The air was electric with excitement and anticipation for the official Opening Ceremony of the new Senior Learning Centre on Tuesday, 25th August. This occasion marks a transformative step forward, providing our Year 11 and 12 students with a modern environment designed to foster collaboration, focus, and excellence.

We were honoured to welcome distinguished guests to celebrate this achievement. The building was officially opened by the Senator for Victoria, Lisa Darmanin, representing the Australian Government. We were also privileged to be joined by Aaron Violi MP, Member for Casey; Mayor Richard Higgins, representing the Yarra Ranges Council; as well as our school's founding members, Board members, former Principals, and past Business Managers and staff. Our Secondary School Student Leaders did us proud, representing our school with dignity and professionalism.  

This state-of-the-art facility is the result of immense vision and hard work. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Australian Government for its support, along with our project partners, Smith & Tracey Architects and Becon Constructions, for bringing this space to life. Most importantly, we thank our dedicated staff and community, past and present, whose enduring commitment has made this dream a reality for our students.

We look forward to welcoming our Year 12 students into the new centre in the coming weeks.
