Student Wellbeing

Spotlight on Our Education Support Team

At our school, we are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and compassionate Education Support (ES) team who play an essential role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. Whether it’s working alongside students who receive additional funding or stepping in to support broader classroom needs, our ES team members are a vital part of our daily school life.

Working across both our Junior (Prep to Year 2) and Senior (Year 3 to Year 6) Pods, the ES team provides hands-on support to individual students, small groups, and teachers. Their work is diverse and flexible, ranging from helping students settle into routines, supporting learning tasks, encouraging social connections, and assisting with emotional regulation strategies. Our ES team are active at recess and lunchtime, supporting students with the building of connections with their peers.

While a key focus of their role is supporting our funded students, their impact reaches far beyond. The team’s ability to offer additional support in the classroom benefits all students, whether it’s by helping a class run smoothly, offering a quiet moment of encouragement, or assisting with group learning activities. They help create calmer, more structured classrooms where every child can thrive.

Our teachers value the insight, presence, and partnership of ES staff. Their support allows for more targeted teaching, better differentiation, and stronger student relationships. We know that many students look forward to seeing our ES staff each day and so do we!

We want to take this opportunity to thank our amazing Education Support team for the invaluable contribution they make to our school community every day. Their presence in both pods helps ensure that every learner is seen, supported, and given the best chance to succeed.
