2025 Production
Can You Help?
Hard work and exciting things are happening at STM as we ramp up preparations for our live production of Kackawackadoo Bay.
Putting on a live performance requires lots of teamwork from all areas of our school community. There are many jobs big and small that we need help with.
Below is a list of things we need help with. If you are able to help in any way, please let myself (Mrs Wicks), Mrs Anderton or the office know.
If you have any props that we are able to borrow, please let us know. When dropping them off, please label them with your name and let us know if they are a donation or if you would like them back.
We look forward to working with you to make this a truly amazing experience for our students.
Props we are looking for:
- Wrought iron outdoor table and chairs
- Snorkel and flippers - approximate size mens 8-9
- Large fake fish - about 30cm or more in length
- A three fold sun lounge (they were called banana lounges when i was growing up!)
- Wire cupcake stand
- Hairdressers cape
- Large lolly jars
- Small picnic basket
- Plastic champagne glasses
- Plastic champagne bottle
- Any pine offcuts to be used for poles for protest signs - approx 1m in length, 5-7cm wide, 1cm depth ( LISA )
- Faux flowers
- Large lengths of gold shimmery material
- Briefcase ( LISA )
Do you have any of these for costumes?
- Red, low to medium heeled shoes or boots size 5-6 womens
- Boys black suit - approx size 12 boys
- Fishing vests - the ones with lots of pockets x2
- xs women’s business suits - either skirts or pants x2
- Pastel striped mens shirt - small to medium mens
- Loose fitting Pastel striped or spotted dress - size 12-14 girls to xs womens
- Cupcake patterned shirt, pants, skirt or dress - size 14 girls to xs/sm womens
- Black knitted vest - size xxs (roughly) womens
- Bright blue, green or yellow hawaiian shirt - sz 14 boys -xs/sm mens
- Overalls in denim or light/bright colour - sz 12-14 kids
Can you help out with any of this?
- Anyone with experience doing sound work for performances available during the day and night of the 30/10
- Painting/making sets and props
- Stage makeup/face painting
- Taking photos of rehearsals/dress rehearsals/cast members
