A Game-Changing Upgrade: New Synthetic Turf Installation Completed Thanks to $20,000 Grant from North East Link

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our brand-new synthetic turf installation, a major upgrade made possible by a generous $20,000 grant from the North East Link Project.

This project marks a significant milestone for our community, transforming our basketball court into a more durable, weather-resistant, and high-performance space that can be enjoyed year-round by students of all ages and skill levels. The new synthetic turf not only enhances the experience for current users, but also opens up opportunities for future programs, events, and increased community engagement.

Without the vital funding from the North East Link, this ambitious project simply wouldn’t have been possible. Their support has helped us achieve a long-standing goal and provide a quality recreational space that will benefit the entire community for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the North East Link team special thanks to Jacqueline Weedon, Community Project Advisor, for their investment in local communities and their belief in the power of sport and recreation to bring people together.

The North East Link will have a pop up stall at the RPS Fair.  This is an opportunity for our community to ask any questions regarding their project or simply express gratitude for our beautiful new basketball court.
