Board News

The Annual General Meeting was held on 27 May 2025.  At this meeting the Board welcomed two recently appointed Directors, Mrs Lynnro van der Nest and Mr Blair Stonehouse.  Marcus D’Angri retired from the Board after serving two terms (6 years).  Marcus’ long term contribution was acknowledged with gratitude at the Annual General Meeting.  Marcus served as Treasurer for most of his time as a Director.  The valued contribution of Mr Ben Styles who resigned from the Board in February was also gratefully acknowledged.

The Board re-appointed Mrs Jane Millar as Chairperson, Dr Sydney Paul as Deputy Chair and Mrs Lynnro van der Nest as Treasurer for the next 12 months.

Multi-Purpose Stadium

The progress of the Multi-Purpose Stadium continues to be exciting for our students, staff and the wider community.  Roof sheeting is currently being installed and should be completed early next week. External cladding and window framing will commence in the near future.

Year 8 STEM elective students enjoyed a question and answer opportunity with the Jointly site manager this afternoon.

Gunbower Estate

We are looking forward to our Year 8 Out and About students, and Year 9 and 10 PASS students camping in tents at Gunbower Estate over the course of next week. With a variety of outdoor activities planned, including canoeing on the Gunbower Creek we hope that these immersive experiences are thoroughly enjoyed by all.  It is certainly great weather for a campfire!

End of Financial Year Appeal

As June 30 approaches, we would like to remind our school families that donations to our Building Fund are tax deductible.  If you would like to make a donation and make a difference, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.  You are also able to donate directly via this link.  Every donation, regardless of the value will make a difference and will be most gratefully received.
