YEAR 10
Planning Your Journey
Head of Year 10 lschuring@cns.catholic.edu.au
The start of Term 3 will be a busy one for our Year 10 Cohort, with our Subject Selection evening in Week 1, Retreat/alternate program in Week 2 and our Set Plan interviews in Weeks 3 and 4. It is an exciting but sometimes challenging time for our young people as they start to have to make decisions for their future. We encourage families to engage in conversations with their young person over the holidays about their thoughts and dreams. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to the pastoral team if you have any questions or concerns.
The subject expo for students and parents/carers in Years 8, 9, and 10 will take place on Wednesday, 16 July. Parents/carers are expected to attend for information about subject selection and career pathways in 2026.
The Year 11 2026 session will start at 5:00 pm. It will begin with an information session about the Senior Pathways available at the College. At 5:30 pm, the Subject Expo, including External Certificate providers and local University displays, will commence. Parents and students are expected to attend to learn about subject selection and career pathways in 2026.
