Growing Together
Head of Year 9 smcqueen1@cns.catholic.edu.au
A reminder that our Year 9 Formation Day will take place this Monday, 23 June. Students are required to wear their House uniform and bring morning tea, lunch, a hat, and a water bottle. We will begin the day with our usual Pastoral Group session before departing by bus. Further details have been shared via the parent slip.
We are also looking forward to our upcoming Athletics Carnival, which promises to be a vibrant and engaging event. I encourage all Year 9 students to participate, whether in competitive or non-competitive events, as every contribution counts towards House points.
It has been a full and rewarding term for our Year 9 cohort, with two carnivals, camp, and Formation Day. I hope they take the upcoming break as an opportunity to rest and recharge. Semester reports will be available at the end of Week 10, and I trust students have applied themselves both academically and socially throughout the term. Thank you for your continued support!
The subject expo for students and parents/carers in Years 8, 9, and 10 will take place on Wednesday, 16 July. Parents/carers are expected to attend for information about subject selection and career pathways in 2026.
This is a brilliant opportunity for students and parents/carers to obtain specific information regarding subject selections and career pathways in 2026. All Heads of Departments will be available to talk with throughout the event.
